A feature exploring South Africa's North West province via the Segarona Heritage Experience, a self-drive route launched by NGO Open Africa and the SAB Foundation.

The piece traces the journey from Johannesburg through the region's landscapes and local villages, spotlighting attractions such as the Kadithswene archaeological ruins, Groot Marico's moonshine culture and literary heritage (novelist Herman Charles Bosman), 'The Eye' spring at the source of the Marico River, and the Big Five game viewing at Pilanesberg National Park and Madikwe Game Reserve.
